Recommended Print Settings and ICC Profile Information
Please look below for the recommended settings for your Finestra Art Paper. You can use the settings below or download a profile for your printer if available.
If you do not see your printer listed, we are happy to make a free profile for you. It does require that we send you a file to print out on your paper and in return we email you your custom profile. If you would like us to make a profile for you, please contact support with your printer model and paper surface you would like profiled and we'll email you instructions.
Our papers are designed to get excellent results with the following settings:
Premium Glossy Photo Paper - Use Luster or Glossy profile
Premium Luster Photo Paper - Use Luster or Glossy profile
Premium Pearl Photo Paper - Use Luster or Glossy profile
Metallic Smooth White Pearl - Use Luster or Glossy profile
Metallic Silver* - Use Luster or Glossy profile (slightly increase brightness and saturation)
Metallic Gold* - Use Luster or Glossy profile (slightly increase brightness and saturation)
Metallic Gold Rapid Dry* - Use Luster or Glossy profile (slightly increase brightness and saturation)
Premium Matte - Use Enhanced Matte or Hot Press Bright White profile. Printable side is the brightest white side of paper.
Premium Natural Matte - Use Enhanced Matte or Hot Press Natural profile. Printable side is cream colored side.
Smooth Fine Art - Use Ultra Smooth Fine Art, Enhanced Matte, Matte Heavyweight or Watercolor
Canvas Matte Finish - Use Matte Canvas, Matte Heavyweight or Watercolor
Canvas Satin Finish - Use Satin or Gloss Canvas, Luster or Glossy Profile
* The reason a Luster profile is used for Metallic Silver and Gold etc. is that these papers have a unique paper color. Creating a profile for these surfaces would result in the silver or gold being characterized out of the paper. Adding brightness/saturation isn't mandatory but since you are printing on a surface darker than white, adding can give you a more dynamic print.
